I just discovered this great little tool that will allow you to capture screencasts or record your Webcam. The tool is called Screencastify. It is an add-on extension for your Google Chrome browser.
Very quickly, I can capture a screencast with a click of a button. With the control settings, I can capture either a browser tab, the entire desktop, or just my Webcam. I can make adjustments to my microphone. Additionally, I can embed my Webcam in the video.
Once the video is created, I can save it to YouTube or Google Drive. Naturally, you have to have a Google account for both options. You can also set the privacy settings to public, unlisted, or private.
There are other options; however, you must pay a nominal fee to access them.
Great tool for quick jobs, what do you think?
